ROGER DALTREY of THE WHO says he can’t stand singing “Won’t Get Fooled Again” anymore.  Quote, “That’s the only song I’m [extremely] bored with . . . All the others I can approach like I’m singing for the first time.  

After getting booted from FLEETWOOD MACLINDSAY BUCKINGHAM has announced some tour dates, and an anthology of his solo work. Solo Anthology – The Best of Lindsey Buckingham, will be out on October 5th. You can catch him in concert October 22 at The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington.

AEROSMITH have announced their Deuces Are Wild Las Vegas Residency, which will kick off in April of 2019 and run through thru July.  The band will be holding court at the Park Theater at the Park MGM! The public on sale date for tickets is Friday, August 24. They’ll be offering on stage tickets, Meet & Greets, pre-show Q&A, passes, backstage tours, premium VIP tables for 8 and more. The band was on the “Today” show on Wednesday, officially announcing their upcoming Las Vegas residency. And at one point, STEVEN TYLER was walking around the crowd, when a young man jumped out in front of him, put his arm around him, and tried to sneak a selfie.  Steven ducked under his arm and pushed him away.  (Here’s video.) Later, Steven Tweeted, quote, “No time, bro . . . this is LIVE TELEVISION!  Come to the show if you want an intimate experience.”

The DEF LEPPARD / JOURNEY tour . . . without Steve Perry . . . has already grossed $50 million in ticket sales, and it’s only a little more than halfway done.  

OZ FOX, guitarist for STRYPER, was performing with a side project this past weekend, when he suffered a seizure on stage. A portion of STRYPER‘s official statement said: “Oz suffered a seizure causing a fall onstage. After performing an MRI, doctors discovered an area of concern near his brain, which they are now running a biopsy on. The doctors have instructed him not to drive or fly for 90 days. No additional information is available at this time. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers and we will communicate additional information as it becomes available.” FOX is currently undergoing testing, and since he has no insurance, a GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help pay for his medical expenses.

ACE FREHLEY will release a new album titled Spaceman on October 19.

GEDDY LEE is releasing a book on the history of the bass guitar this December.  

VINNIE VINCENT has filed an application the US Patent and Trademark office, looking to register “VINNIE VINCENT’S KISS“.
