A new compilation album called Muscle Shoals…Small Town, Big Sound is coming out on September 28. The set is a tribute to honor the 60th birthday of Florence Alabama Music Enterprises (FAME) Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama and its late co-founder Rick Hall. Among the performers on the album are Jamey Johnson, Willie Nelson, Chris Stapleton, Lee Ann Womack, Michael McDonald, Shinedown’s Brent Smith and Steven Tyler, who covered the Stones track “Brown Sugar”, with the help of famed axeman Nuno Bettencourt, of Extreme.
