The National Weather Service hosted the first free Hurricane Community Forum in MHC recently, and they’re gearing up for the next. It’s happening Thursday, May 23, 6-8pm at Holly Ridge Community Center, and everyone is welcome to attend this free informational event. A meteorologist from the National Weather Service will be there to discuss hurricanes and their impacts on ENC. The discussion will include why you should never just focus on just the category of the storm, what the hurricane path track means and the various impacts tropical cyclones can bring.
