The sons of ALLMAN BROTHERS bandmates GREGG ALLMAN and DICKEY BETTS are hitting the road together later this month.

KID ROCK has changed the name of his Greatest Show on Earth Tour, after a legal challenge from the company that owns Ringling Brothers. It is now called The American Rock N Roll Tour.

It looks like JOURNEY and DEF LEPPARD are going to tour this year.  No official announcement has been made yet, but there are indications that they’ll kick things off in May.

JANET GARDNER, lead singer of VIXEN, recently had to undergo surgery surgery for a subdural hematoma. On FAcebook she posted: “I was rushed off to the hospital, and had to have emergency surgery to remove a subdural hematoma that was putting pressure on my brain. They had to drill a hole into my head to remove the hematoma and put a titanium plate in to cover the hole. I am literally a metal head!”

GLENN FREY’s widow is suing a Manhattan hospital and one of its doctors for wrongful death.

HARRY SHEARER is putting out a solo album as his fictional “Spinal Tap” character, Derek Smalls.  It’ll be out April 13th.Smalls Change (Meditations Upon Ageing) features guest appearances by a ton of notable rockers, including PETER FRAMPTON, STEVE VAI, JOE SATRIANI, CHILI PEPPERS drummer CHAD SMITH, RICK WAKEMAN of YES, DAVID CROSBY and more.

HOWARD STERN will induct BON JOVI into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 14 in Cleveland.

Coming on February 23, a reissue of the Concert for George, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of GEORGE HARRISON’S birth. It will be available in a variety of formats, including CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, streaming and vinyl, and will have plenty of extras.
