ZZ TOP will be looking for some tush in Vegas! The band has announced a six-date residency at the Venetian starting April 20. The Top celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2019.

Last year was the 50th anniversary of the MOODY BLUES album Days of Future Passed, so the band performed it in its entirety while on tour. That tour was recorded, and will be available as Days of Future Passed Live on March 23. It will be available on CD, DVD and Blu-ray. Check out the trailer:

Coming March 23 – a remaster of LED ZEPPELIN‘s 2003 live album How the West Was Won. The set is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

ELTON JOHN has announced that he’s retiring after one last farewell tour.  But he isn’t calling it quits anytime soon.  His final tour is expected to take THREE YEARS, and will include more than 300 shows. The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour stops at PNC Arena in Raleigh on March 12, 2019 – tickets on sale February 16.

LYNYRD SKYNYRD have also announced a farewell tour. After a career that has spanned more than 40 years and includes a catalog of more than 60 albums, the band will embark on its final Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour. NC dates include Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek on Friday June 29th and PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte on Saturday June 30th. Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Friday, February 2 at 10:00am.

In 2016, L.A. GUNS reunited, featuring TRACII GUNS and PHIL LEWIS. They’ll be making a stop at the Tarheel in Jacksonville on February 20. The band also recorded a show in Milan, Italy last year, and that set will be released on CD, DVD and Blu-ray on March 23 as Made In Milan. Here’s a teaser:

SLAYER recently announce a farewell tour, but MEGADETH’s DAVE MUSTAINE is hoping there might be a chance for one last “Big Four” show, featuring his band, SLAYER, METALLICA and ANTHRAX.

Speaking of METALLICA – fans are getting closer to making CLIFF BURTON‘s birthday, February 10, an official holiday in Castro Valley, CA. And, now available for pre-order, a reissue of “The $5.98 EP – Garage Days Re-Revisited”, which will be released on April 13 for Record Store Day.
