TOTO has announced that a 13 disc box set called All In will be out on May 24. The band will also be touring the U.S. this year, but there are no dates scheduled in our area at this time. 

PETER FRAMPTON had such a good time jamming blues tunes with STEVE MILLER on their recent tour, that he”s decided to release an album of blues covers. All Blues, by the PETER FRAMPTON BAND will be out June 7.

PHIL MCCORMACK, lead singer of MOLLY HATCHET, passed away on April 26. He was just 58 years old. McCormack fronted the band since 1996.

There was a recent announcement that Woodstock 50 was canceled, because it just wasn’t coming together.  Later, the organizers said that the festival’s primary investors had departed . . . but that they were still “committed” to finding the money to make Woodstock 50 happen. (Have the organizers NOT seen one of those Fyre Festival documentaries?) JOHN FOGERTY says that there has been a “shakiness” to how Woodstock 50 has been put together.  He’s already been paid, but if the festival does get canceled, he’ll donate his fee to military veterans.  

RON WOOD says MICK JAGGER is “doing well” after heart surgery.   

BILLY IDOL and BRYAN ADAMS are launching a co-headlining tour. Catch them on August 12 in Bristow, VA  at Jiffy Lube Live.

Coming in September, STRYPER frontman MICHAEL SWEET‘s new solo album, Ten.  

KID ROCK is getting a seven-foot-tall sculpture of a hand FLIPPING THE BIRD for his Nashville home.  He got the idea from a Vermont man who put one on his property to protest local leaders not letting him develop his land. 

Another release from the vaults of the ROLLING STONES is on the way. On June 7, a package from the Rock and Roll Circus BBC special will be released. It will feature remastered audio and video, plus a tons of extras and special guests.

BOB DYLAN has a new box set coming June 7. It’s a 14 CD package that covers his 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue tour. Interestingly, it coincides with the release of a new Netflix documentary directed by MARTIN SCORCESE. Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story, will be available June 12.
