DAVE GROHL says the FOO FIGHTERS are “dad rock,” and that they’ve never been hip or cool. And he’s fine with that, because the band IS filled with dads who play rock music. 

MICK MARS is playing defense after a clip of him saying the world should get free tickets if MOTLEY CRUE ever toured again. MARS dropped that comment during a 2014 interview on That Metal Show, and it’s been making the rounds. MARS now says that he was “clearly joking”.

GENE SIMMONS has a new business venture. He’s teamed up with a producer to launch a festival project called Titans Of Rock. The plan is for festival events to be booked in the US and Canada, and the first one will happen in British Columbia in August 2020. 

ERIC CLAPTON has announced a tribute concert for CREAM drummer GINGER BAKER, who passed away earlier this year. ‘Eric Clapton & Friends: A Tribute to Ginger Baker’  will happen February 17, 2020 at the Hammersmith Apollo in London.  

Coming in March 2020, “Dance With The Devil – The Cozy Powell Story”. The tale of one of the greatest drummers in rock history – a sought after session drummer, POWELL also played with RAINBOW, JEFF BECK, WHITESNAKE, BLACK SABBATH and more. 

Earlier this month, SAMMY HAGAR made a stop at the Grammy Museum in LA. He took to the stage for conversation and an acoustic set.
