ALICE COOPER told Rolling Stone he will use the downtime from having his North American tour postponed to work on new music.

STEVIE NICKS has been listening to the new HARRY STYLES album “Fine Line”, and she says it’s inspiring her to write new music. She also compared it to the classic FLEETWOOD MAC album Rumours.

DENNIS DEYOUNG says he wants to reunite with STYX for one last tour.  

JON BON JOVI has begun to write a new song, but he needs YOU to help him finish it.  It’s called “Do What You Can”, and it’s all about how we’re dealing with this new normal of ours. Jon wrote the first verse and the chorus, and he’s asking fans to write their own verse and post it to his Instagram.  If he likes what you have to say, it could end up in the song. Meanwhile, DAVID BRYAN, longtime keyboard player for BON JOVI, announced that he tested positive for the coronavirus, and is in the middle of a two-week quarantine. 

DAVID COVERDALE took to social media to announce that he was canceling the entire WHITESNAKE 2020 tour. “Once again it breaks my heart to be the bearer of even more sad news affecting Whitesnake’s touring schedule for this increasingly challenging year 2020. All tours, Europe, U.K. and U.S., are being canceled owing to health issues, related specifically to a bilateral inguinal hernia requiring me to have surgery.” 

METALLICA has given us a reason to look forward to Mondays. They’ve launched “#MetallicaMondays” – and will stream a live show, in its entirety, on their YouTube channel and also on Facebook every Monday.

The FOO FIGHTERS recorded their upcoming album in an old house, and apparently, it was haunted.  DAVE GROHL says all kinds of weird stuff was happening with their equipment and recordings, and they “saw things” on a baby monitor they set up . . . but they’re not allowed to elaborate. Dave said, quote, “When we walked into the house . . . I knew the vibes were definitely off but the sound was [effing] on.”

BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG from GREEN DAY recorded a cover of I Think We’re Alone Now in his bedroom. He posted: “Dear friends.. While we’ve all been in quarantine I’ve been reflecting on the things that matter the most in my life. Family, friends and of course music. I recorded a cover of Tommy James and the Shondells “I think we’re alone now” in my bedroom. I figure if we have to spend this time in isolation at least we can be alone together.”
