Just because it’s hot doesn’t mean the fish aren’t biting, they are! The offshore bite is good on mahi, wahoo, kings and tuna using trolling baits. Inshore the trout are going crazy on live shrimp. Plus Red Drum fishing is great on cut bait and even a few tarpon are being reeled in on mullet.
Fresh water fishing. With recent rains the water is still stirred up but the bass are always hungry. Best lures right now are plastic worms Carolina rigged unless you love catching weeds on every cast. Also the bream are hitting live bait and mepps spinners. Catfish fishing is good on chicken livers and Gulp catfish bites.
