It’s always a great day to go fishing. The bass are spawning and the daddy bass are protecting their eggs or fry. So any soft plastic that looks a lizard, bluegill or small snake will get bit. The big girls are shallow right now and will eat anything that swims.
The bream and crappie are schooled up and eating beetle spins, jigs, road runners, and the like.
Salt water wise, trout and puppy drum are killing it on white grubs with pink jig heads. Off shore the tuna are hitting.
Take a kid fishing. Stay out of my private lake. Also, pick up your trash.
