A single mom who works as a bartender near Dallas got a $4,000 tip last week.  Two women came in and bought a round of drinks for everyone.  The one paying left a $1,000 tip, but then said it wasn’t enough and upped it to four grand.  It turned out she’d just inherited some money and wanted to pay it forward…………….. A Vietnam vet from Wisconsin recently passed away at age 76, and he didn’t have any family. So Legion Riders, veterans, civilians and strangers, and people from all over the Midwest showed up to his funeral last Friday to pay their respects. An elephant in Thailand collapsed after her calf fell into a drain hole and the mother refused to leave its side, partially sliding into the hole. Rescuers used a crane to lift her up, but she fainted and staff members performed CPR by jumping up and down on her body in an attempt to resuscitate her. The baby was dug out, and rushed to its mother’s side. Rescue efforts paid off, as the mother elephant stood up to cuddle her baby, then the two returned to the wild.
