The best fishing of year is here.  That’s because cold weather is on the way and the fish are eating to gain weight for winter.  Fresh water fishing is really good.  Bass are biting on just about every lure in your tackle box, especially bluegill colored lures.

Speckled trout are hitting on mirror lures, grubs, finger mullet, live shrimp and gulp.  The red drum and flounder fishing is really good – best baits are mullet and frozen baits.

The king mackerel fishing is good, with plenty of kings being caught on menhaden, and ribbon fish.

The jumbo spots are here so grab some shrimp or bloodworms and fill your cooler with one of the best eating fish..
