The shore fishing is good, with anglers catching red drum, black drum, bluefish, spots, croakers, sea mullet, flounder, and sheep’s head. Trolling inshore and off the beaches has been producing plenty of Spanish mackerel and small kings. Off shore, the bottom fishing has been good on grouper, red and silver snapper and black seabass. Still plenty of dolphin aka mahi mahi, kings, and wahoo.
Fresh water fishing is good early morning and in the evening. One angler caught 175 bluegills on 30 nightcrawlers. Plus, the bass are hitting soft plastics baits and buzz baits. The crappie are hitting on minnows fished deep. The catfish are being caught on chicken livers.
Take a kid fishing, skip work to go fishing, and remember to pick up your trash.
