She was lucky they had some experience with this.  It’s the third ring they’ve found for people, just in the past two years.  They say this one missed going to the incinerator by about 15 minutes…… The Laundry Basket, a Maine laundromat, decided to turn the problem of lost socks into a charitable initiative. They donated a new pair of socks to a local charity for every lost sock they found in November, and the community joined in, resulting in the collection of over 950 pairs, plus sock brand Bombas donated 750 pairs to the cause……………And finally…………..

NJ man Drew Delgado uses self-checkout at Walmart, and wanted to throw a holiday party for others who bag items themselves, so he created a Facebook event to celebrate “another successful year of customers picking, paying and bagging your own groceries”. With more than 8K RSVPs, Delgado decided to turn the fake party into a holiday toy drive with the help of his fellow Elks Lodge members. The December 15th event brought in more than a thousand gifts for needy kids, plus tons of donations to the local food bank and an animal refuge.
