Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits got more than 60 artists to appear on a new charity tune that will benefit Britain’s Teenage Cancer Trust and Teen Cancer America. The lineup is INSANE, and includes David Gilmour, Slash, Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend, Ron Wood, Brian May, Joan Jett, Alex Lifeson, Peter Frampton, Tom Morello, Rick Nielsen, Joe Satriani, Joe Walsh and more. The late Jeff Beck plays on it, too. And if that’s not enough, Sting plays bass, Ringo Starr and his son Zack Starkey are on drums, and Roger Daltrey plays the harmonica. The song is a remake of Knopfler’s 1983 instrumental “Going Home“. It comes out March 15th.
