It’s International Women’s Day, which happens every year on March 8. It’s a day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The very first IWD gathering happened in 1911 and became a mainstream global event when it was picked up and promoted by the UN in 1977. The day  is designed to give focus to issues including gender equality, reproductive rights and violence and abuse against women. There are lots of ways to really help girls and women, and to celebrate the rock stars among us. #InspireInclusion
