Earlier this month, police in Columbus, Georgia kicked down the door of a burning home . . . to save an 89-year-old woman inside.  The department spotlighted one specific officer for his brave, quick-thinking in a social media post:  Officer Michael Coley…………An Army vet in central Pennsylvania helped save the lives of two fishermen on Memorial Day when their boat sank in a remote section of a river.  Mark Lattanzi spent eight-and-a-half years in the Army and now works as a fitness instructor.  He was on a party boat with his friends and scooped them up.  Everything on the boat was lost, but they’re okay…….And finally…………….  

A high school senior in Boston won a $10,000 scholarship last week, beating out five other finalists.  But an anonymous donor decided they deserved to win too, and put up another 50 grand, so all six students got $10,000 each. Boston Public Schools said the six students who were honored are from six countries, representing five languages and are all-around great kids. BPS superintendent Mary Skipper said they were “so representative of the brilliance, beauty and the talent that we have.”
