Meet Baxter!
Baxter is a 1 year old male pit mix that initially came into the shelter in December of 2023 due to his owners moving; after being in the shelter for 4 months, he was adopted out but returned a week later because the folks were not able to manage his energy level. Since Baxter has been back with the shelter, he spent a month at Jill’s Pet Resort where he played in playgroup almost daily, and received mounds of attention, which he graciously soaked up. Baxter is a big puppy at 70lbs, he likes toys, enjoys the water, and really loves going on walks. He is a happy boy that would make the perfect pet for an active family who also enjoys doing some training (Baxter loves to learn and is a great listener). Baxter’s adoption fee is $62.50 since he has been at the shelter for more than 50 days, and this includes his neuter, microchip and being up-to-date on vaccinations.
