A mom in Florida recently went to a theme park with her six-week-old son, Lincoln. And a random person’s comment saved his life. An Alaska woman, Esther Sanderlin, has helped make sure that neighbors in remote areas had a happy Thanksgiving – by air-dropping them frozen turkeys as she flew by in her plane. It’s the third year she’s done it. She said she was visiting a neighbor and they were talking about splitting a squirrel three ways for dinner, and how that didn’t really go very far. So she decided, “You know what, I’m going to airdrop them a turkey for Thanksgiving”. This year she dropped 30 to 40 turkeys, all in the effort to ensure no one is forgotten.
