Meet Beluga, a 9 month old American Bulldog Mix. Beluga is not only absolutely adorable, but is people and dog loving. He is the BIGGEST cuddle baby! (At this time, the shelter does not recommend Beluga with cats.)
Beluga was a transfer from Craven Pamlico Animal Services, and has been a welcome addition to HSEC’s program. Beluga is not only a wiggly, handsome guy, he is also a quick learner. It is believed that with routine, Beluga could be easily house trained. Beluga does well walking on the leash, and is slowly getting the hang of crate training. The shelter folks are still learning about the nuances of Beluga’s personality, and they can’t wait to see what more he has to show them.
The shelter’s adoption fee for dogs is $200.00. This fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and consistent heartworm and flea prevention before leaving the facility.
