A 311-year-old Stradivarius violin sold at auction on Friday for $11.3 million.  Experts say it’s one of the finest instruments ever made.  It was donated to the New England Conservatory of Music in 2009.  The money from the auction will go to cover scholarships there…………..Volusia County, Florida cops stopped an out-of-control boat last week after the guy driving it had a medical episode and passed out.  They pulled up next to it while it was spinning in circles, and got close enough for a guy to jump on board.  They said the guy who passed out will be okay………………And finally…………………. 

A sad donkey named Eeyore is doing much better after getting a new home on Canada’s  Vancouver Island.  He lived alone his whole life in someone’s backyard, and wasn’t great with other animals.  A sanctuary called Home for Hooves took him in when his owner passed away, and the woman who runs it wanted to give him something to do, so she tossed a big yoga ball in his pen.  He played with it constantly until it popped, but people on social media started sending more yoga balls.  He still plays with them but doesn’t need them as much anymore, because he finally bonded with three other rescue donkeys she brought in. She says it’s nice to see him finally have a family, and she renamed him Earl, because “Eeyore” just seemed too depressing.
