Firefighters in East Texas saved a dog that fell down an old well under someone’s house.  They think he might be a stray.  If they can’t find his owner, one of the people who rescued him wants to adopt him…………. A guy from Nebraska got his high school class ring back 44 years after it went missing in 1981.  A man 70 miles away in Missouri found it in the dirt while working in his garden, and no one knows how it got there.  Cary Crocker graduated in 1978 and his family owned a flower shop in Omaha that sold potted plants.  He thinks maybe it fell off while he was working at the shop, and that’s how it ended up in the guy’s garden…….And finally……….. 

Verizon teamed up with ForgiveCo to eliminate $10 million in debt for 6,500 folks in western NC who are still recovering from Hurricane Helene. The families learned that Verizon cleared their medical, financial, and other debts with the help of ForgiveCo, whose “random acts of kindness” model purchases consumer debt, with no applications required. Basketball Hall of Fame coach and Asheville native, Roy Williams, shared the news with the impacted families, saying “These are challenging times, but I’ve seen the strength and resilience of this community. Verizon’s support is a powerful reminder that no one is alone, and together, we’ll rise stronger.”
