Here’s an unlikely pairing:  An animal sanctuary in western Canada recently took in a 300-pound pig named Truffles, and he’s already got a buddy.  He’s become best friends with a chicken named Little Red that likes to ride around on his back, and he doesn’t seem to mind it.  Employees say they’re inseparable…………. In a new survey, 77% of U.S. veterans say they believe video games have a positive impact on their lives.  86% say video games provide a healthy outlet for stress and anxiety . . . 81% say they help them cope with difficult times . . . and 74% say gaming communities have a positive impact on their mental health……..And finally…………….. 

CT high school seniors Liliana Vera and Evan Jekubovich decided to do something different for date night. Inspired by a Tik Tok video, the couple picked up flowers, pens, and notecards — not for each other, but for people going through tough times. They drove to Hartford Hospital and put the flowers and handwritten, encouraging notes on the windshields of cars in the parking lot.  Vera said “We both know how it is to visit people in a hospital, be in the hospital, and it’s nice to have something nice when you’re leaving when something hard is happening to you. I hope that it inspires others to do better and be the better version of themselves.”
