Cheryl is our featured dog this week. She’s a spayed 7.5 month old terrier mix who is thriving in foster, and the shelter is thrilled to let you know what her foster mom has to say about having her in the home:
“Where do I start with little miss Cheryl? She is SUCH a cuddle bug, She loves snuggling up to you on the couch and of course, covering you in lots of kisses! She loves to be picked up and held. We have a 2-year-old pup at home who she loves to play with, he is about 80 lbs so she doesn’t mind playing with dogs much larger than her. She does great going in her crate during the day while we are gone and has made great progress with her house training. We even started teaching her to ring a bell when she needs to go outside! We have introduced her to kids and she loves them! She does well on a leash but is still working on some of her manners. She knows how to sit, and we are also working on shake, come, leave it, drop it, and stay. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt Cheryl is guaranteed to have a built-in best friend!”
