Earlier this year, a mother’s worst nightmare turned into an unexpected blessing when another mom, a total stranger, saved her 15-year-old son’s life.  Her teen, Evan Tucker, was on a baseball field, when he suffered cardiac arrest.  The other mother knew CPR.  She ran out and performed it for eight minutes until the ambulance arrived . . . and it worked.  Evan is recovering………………Scientists have discovered a sugar compound from deep-sea bacteria that can destroy cancer cells in a dramatic way.  It causes cancer cells to undergo a fiery form of cell death, essentially making them self-destruct.  This could pave the way for new cancer treatments based on sugars from marine organisms……………And finally……………

26-year veteran Nicole Pruitt jumped into action to stop a woman from storming the cockpit on a recent Delta flight.  The woman was yelling about God saying she needed to get off the plane . . . mid-air.  And in addition to the cockpit, she was also trying to breach the emergency exit doors. Nicole stepped in and physically pulled her away and held her back until she could be restrained and tied down by the crew.  Delta and the other passengers thanked Nicole for her courage and action to de-escalate the situation.  The flight landed safely, and Nicole did a local news interview with her son.
