A group of 100 culinary students in Mexico broke a world record by serving over 13,000 tacos in an hour.  The 23-foot frying pan they used also broke a record.  All the leftover tacos went to local food banks…………….. The world’s oldest person just celebrated another birthday.  Ethel Caterham was born in England in 1909 and turned 116 on Thursday.  Her advice to people younger than her . . . so, literally everyone on Earth . . . is “say yes to every opportunity, because you never know what it will lead to.”…..And finally………… 

This would be huge for the 15 million people living with spinal cord injuries worldwide.  Researchers in Israel are planning to perform the first-ever spinal cord transplant. They’ll replace a damaged section of spinal cord with a new section grown in a lab using the person’s own cells.  It’s already been tested on animals, and it worked.  Quote, “Our goal is to help paralyzed patients rise from their wheelchairs.”
