You really should take time to “stop and smell the roses.”  A study found the smell can boost the amount of gray matter in your brain and literally make it bigger.  They tested it by having people wear rose-scented perfume………….. A 93-year-old U.K. couple, Keith and Edna Schofield, just renewed their vows for their 72nd anniversary.  They did it in their living room while seated, because who wants to stand when you’re 93?  Their daughter officiated, and when she asked her dad if he’d take Edna to be his “lawful wedded wife”, he said no and the room cracked up.  Their 31-year-old granddaughter shared the footage and said “never lose your sense of humor.”…………..And finally……….. 

A reboot of “The Toxic Avenger” is in theaters now, and the folks behind it are doing something pretty cool. The main character has a terminal illness, and like many of us, has to fight with insurance to get treated.  Rather than do any more marketing stunts for the movie, the rest of the marketing budget is being used to erase medical debt for those in need.  The distributor, Cineverse, partnered with the nonprofit Undue Medical Debt, which buys debt in massive bundles at a fraction of the cost, to eliminate at least $5 million in medical debt, and for every $1 million the movie makes at the box office, Cineverse will wipe out another million in debt.
