Today’s Good News 10-9-25

An Oklahoma cop showed up at a party last week after a noise complaint, and ended up joining in the fun.  Tulsa Police shared a video of him dancing.  He also gave them a warning and asked them to keep it down………….. A deputy and sergeant with the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office in Michigan helped a deer get untangled from a hammock. They worked together to cut the distressed animal free “after a few tense moments”, and then the deer ran into the woods.  (Here’s video of the rescue.)…………And finally………

Employees at a VA Lowe’s are celebrating after they got their cat back this week.  Francine the cat has been living at a Richmond Lowe’s  since 2017, and customers love her.  Volunteers put up posters after she went missing last month, and someone created an Instagram called “Where’s Francine” that picked up 36K followers.  Employees eventually found security footage that showed Francine wandering onto a delivery truck, and then she spent two weeks running around an NC distribution center, 85 miles away.  It’s 1.4 MILLION square feet, so it took a while to catch her.  Corporate even brought in thermal drones to track her down.  But in the end, they just set up some traps around the place, and lured her in with food.  She’s now back home at her Lowe’s in Richmond safe and sound.
