A 10-year-old girl in Texas did the Heimlich and saved her seven-year-old brother’s life.  He was eating candy while jumping on a trampoline in their backyard . . . something he told his parents he WON’T do again.  Their mom teaches CPR and life-saving skills, so she’s obviously very proud…………..Naked mole-rats had a big week.  They look like rats . . . but hairless and uglier . . . and live up to 40 years.  That’s 10 times longer than most rodents, and they rarely get cancer.  A study figured out the specific genes that repair their DNA.  Experts say it could lead to new anti-aging treatments to help humans live longer…….And finally……………. 

Two young German women went on safari in Africa, and surprised their driver by bringing him along.  He’s from South Africa, but said he’d never been on a tour before.  He was planning to wait for them in the parking lot until they told him they bought him a ticket. One of the girls said, “He told us before going that he had never been on a safari in his life and we just wanted to make him happy,”   (Here’s the video.)
