Norm Feigenbaum, a 93-year-old guy in L.A., got his dog back almost two weeks after she went missing, all thanks to some dirty socks.  Someone spotted her at a nature preserve a mile away, so volunteers set up a humane trap to catch her.  She loves Norm’s dirty socks, so they made a trail of them leading to the cage and she wandered in about 30 minutes later………………….Australia has so many solar panels now, they’re giving away electricity for free.  They don’t want to waste any.  So starting next year, millions of Australians will get three hours of free electricity per day.  You don’t even have to have solar panels on your house…………………And finally…………… 

A couple in Charleston, South Carolina used a traffic cone to save a drowning raccoon.  They saw it struggling, lowered the cone down, and it grabbed on.  As they slowly pulled the cone up, the racoon fell back into the water several times, but finally got a good grip and made it back to dry land.  The little guy clung to the railing, caught his breath and then scurried off.  (Here’s the video.)
