A Denver woman is in the news after making a huge Thanksgiving spread for her backyard squirrels.  It included things like nuts, grapes, bananas, a pecan pie, and LOTS of peanut butter.  It’s the fifth year she’s done it…………………..Hundreds of senior citizens in British Columbia will get a handwritten Christmas card this year, thanks to one woman and her army of volunteers. During the pandemic, Christiana Conway worried about seniors who were isolated, so she, her husband, and a close friend sat down to write cards for a few care homes. Five years later, the project has delivered thousands of cards, with nearly 100 volunteers involved. Christiana says the residents are touched by the gesture, and some even cried because it meant so much to them that someone out there cared……………And finally………….. 

Today is Giving Tuesday!  A poll for it found one in five Americans plan to donate time or money to a cause they care about today.  39% said they’ll donate between now and the end of the year. We’re lucky enough to live in the richest country in the world – choose a cause or organization that resonates with you and share what you can.  Every little bit helps.
