It’s not just the trees that get delivered – the kids make a gift list for Santa, and the hospital staff collects donations to make sure each child has wrapped gifts under the tree…………..A TX woman who loved Christmas passed away in September, so her husband and family rented an empty store at the mall to show off her Christmas decorations. Nothing is for sale in the store, it’s a tribute to a woman who loved the holiday. A group of OR strippers are in the news for an annual fundraiser called “Tatas for Toys“. It’s the 15th year they’ve done it, and this week’s event brought in a record $60,000. The money goes to buy toys for sick kids at a children’s hospital in Portland. They’ve now raised over $240,000 since 2011, making them the hospital’s top donor of toys.
