David Sylvester has spent the past 25 years doling out as many hugs as possible. His friend was in one of the towers on 9/11 and didn’t make it out. Dave says he was a “lifelong positive presence,” so he’s been doing it as a tribute to him. In the past 25 years, he’s hugged over a MILLION PEOPLE in all 50 states and 42 different countries. His record for a single day was 1,330 in Las Vegas in 2017. He published a book in 2021 called “One Hug at a Time“. Now he has a new one called “Brothers in Arms: Real Men Hug“.
