A 12-year-old British boy Zac Howells saved his mom by intentionally crashing their car into a guardrail. She had a medical episode and passed out behind the wheel with her foot on the gas. Zac managed to slow the car down, then stop it by crashing it into a barrier. He called 999 . . . their 911 . . . and stayed calm the whole time. You can even hear him keeping his mom calm when she starts waking up……
Juan Mendoza, a 19-year-old TX kid, pulled an elderly couple from their car after a nasty wreck, and he just got rewarded in a big way. They never got his name, but “CBS News” tracked him down. He’s a cook at a Texas Roadhouse near the Mexico border and wants to be a paramedic someday. The president of an ambulance company offered him a scholarship, and told him he’s got a job as soon as he graduates.
