Forth Worth, Texas firefighters saved a bunch of homeless people from cold temperatures this week. There’s a photo of one firefighter carrying a guy on his back to get him to a hospital. The guy had hypothermia, and it caused a seizure. He was one of several people they carried out………….. Have you heard about this guy yet? A 21-year-old from Ukraine fled the country and moved to Japan three years ago. Now he’s a sumo champion. He goes by the sumo name Aonishiki. He might be the best sumo wrestler in the WORLD right now, so not some minor leaguer. He just won his second big sumo tournament in a row, and if he wins one more, he’ll be the first European to ever reach the highest rank of yokozuna……………….And finally……………..
A MN high school senior is in the news for going way above and beyond. He’s a cashier at a Walmart near Minneapolis, and an old lady’s card got declined. So he reached into his own wallet and paid for all her stuff. The total was around $80, but he’s already been paid back, and then some. A customer in line behind her was so impressed, they started a GoFundMe for him. Last we checked, it was up over $9,000.
