Plans for the Rock the Country tour are shifting as several artists originally linked to the event are no longer taking part. The multi city festival, scheduled to run across the U.S. later this year, is led by Kid Rock and Jason Aldean and is expected to stop in smaller markets rather than major coastal cities.
In recent days, it became clear that Morgan Wade and Carter Faith are no longer on the lineup. Representatives for Wade confirmed she will not appear on the tour, while Faith responded directly to fans online, saying she is no longer involved. Both exits came quietly, without public statements explaining the decisions.
At the same time, Ludacris was briefly listed as a performer before his team clarified that he was never booked for the tour and was added in error. His name has since been removed from promotional materials.
Despite the changes, organizers say the tour is moving forward as planned. Several high profile country and rock acts remain confirmed, and ticket sales are ongoing. The lineup adjustments reflect routine scheduling changes as the tour finalizes its dates and performers.
