Active-duty Marine and Bear Creek volunteer firefighter Richard Stephen Flowers has a new business venture launching this weekend called the Jville Brew Loop, aimed at keeping drunk drivers off the streets. He got the idea after paying almost $200 to Uber between six different Jacksonville bars, so with a business partner, he bought two church buses for a “hop on, hop off” way to transport folks on a continuous route to partnered bars. The buses will stop at each bar for about an hour, and the cost is $20. The mission: Drink Local, Ride Safe, All Night. Get tickets at jvillebrewloop.com.
