Punch the monkey and his stuffed toy really did start a trend…….yesterday I shared a story about a chick with a feather duster for a mom, and now a 33-year-old harbor seal named Reggae has gone viral after a video showed him cuddling with his favorite rubber duck at the New England Aquarium. The aquarium shared the clip as part of its animal enrichment program, which uses toys to keep seals mentally stimulated and curious. (Here’s video.)…………………… Macy, a 12-year-old GA girl, saved her two brothers’ lives last week. As soon as she realized her house was on fire, she rushed inside. She screamed loud enough to wake up one brother who was sleeping upstairs . . . and yelled at the other one who was in the shower. Firefighters were able to contain the fire eventually, and thanks to Macy’s quick thinking, everyone is safe and sound…………………….And finally……………..
An autistic bowler named Matt Sipes just rolled his first-ever perfect game of 300. It was a lifelong dream of his. And he also just joined the Professional Bowlers Association, so he’s taking his dream to the big time. He says the 300-game was the payoff for years of focus and love for the sport. Now that he’s a pro, he hopes his success inspires other athletes on the spectrum to chase their goals. (Here’s video of Matt rolling a 300.)
