A woman in England named Eliz Sandalls has crocheted 100 handmade blankets for newborn babies. She has been doing it out of the kindness of her heart . . . but also to thank that hospital for a surgery a few years ago that preserved some of the sight in her left eye, allowing her to continue crocheting. Each blanket is a two-foot square, and takes 2.8 days for Eliz to crochet it…………. A New York TV reporter living with two chronic autoimmune liver diseases is set to receive a liver donation from an unexpected source . . . one of her longtime viewers. The reporter’s name is Amy McGorry . . . and after she publicly shared her diagnosis, she learned that a woman she had never met matched her as a compatible donor. A K9 officer in Denver named Adele has retired after helping seize over $1 MILLION in narcotics over her eight-year career. In a tribute, the department said, “Adele has always given her all, and her record speaks for itself. Adele, without a doubt, has made an extraordinary difference in keeping our community safe and has truly earned her reputation as a top dog.” Now that she’s retired, Adele will travel, go boating, cheer on her kids at softball and football games, and spend her days snuggling her kittens and sister pup at home.
