Kansas City police recently responded to a 911 call about two young brothers, Parez and Jakkhi Reese, running a lemonade stand. Officer Morgan Reed was first on the scene after the call, and she encouraged her colleagues to stop by. In about 30 minutes, the brothers made around $280. “I think a lot of us were kids growing up in this city,” Officer Reed said. “This was the thing that we always looked forward to as kids, these friendly police interactions.”
