A TN dog that was abandoned has found a loving new home nearly a year later. The dog’s name is Buddy, and surveillance video showed his previous owner throwing him over the six-foot-tall fence of the county animal shelter. Buddy’s story was shared across the country until he was eventually adopted by a woman in Massachusetts. Isabella Forte said she was struck by how much he resembled her late father’s beloved rescue dog and immediately knew she wanted to adopt him. Now, a year later, he’s happy in his new home, and Isabella says the dog “never stops smiling.”
