A Milwaukee landlord was cleaning out a vacated apartment and made an incredible discovery. It was an original Pablo Picasso etching that was stolen from a gallery nearby in 2018. The landlord quickly turned it over to the police, and the gallery owner later confirmed it was the real deal. The artwork had been valued between $35,000 and $50,000 when it disappeared……………….A woman diagnosed with progressive Alzheimer’s disease just had a remarkable turnaround after taking an experimental medication. Her brain scans once showed nine areas of brain plaque, but doctors now say they’re all gone. She says she’s regained most of the memory she had lost . . . and along the way, she also reconnected with a friend from junior high, and they just celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Jasper Steinmetz, a recent Indiana University grad, was living in Texas when he met a homeless man sitting on a bench next to an IU backpack. Jasper found out that he was indeed from Indiana and had been homeless for 8 months. But when Jasper googled the man, Sampson James, he discovered that he’d been the Hoosier’s star running back before blowing out his knee. Unfortunately, he was then diagnosed as bipolar, dropped out of school, and ended up homeless. Jasper decided to help, and he raised $20K for Sampson to get him an apartment, clothes and food to get his life back on track. Speaking with CBS News, Sampson said he understood what folks had done to help him, and he wasn’t going to let them down.
