A cat in England named Tilly is back home after spending five days stuck in a tree. Her owners tried everything to get her down, but she climbed too high to reach. Firefighters stepped in and safely rescued her after a long ordeal. Luckily, Tilly is home safe now and was able to keep all nine of her lives…………….. Angela Hernández, a 16-year-old student in Mexico, developed a unique fire extinguisher that uses sound waves to put out flames in seconds. Her device uses a 12-volt battery, a frequency generator, and a speaker that emits 30 pulses per second to push oxygen away from a fire. After testing her invention, she found it could extinguish flames involving wood, flammable liquids, cooking grease, and electronic equipment. The device is called “Vortex Tech”, and Angela will be taking to an international fair to represent Mexico. (It’s pretty cool to invent a fire extinguisher that doesn’t use water or chemicals.
