One of the strangers had enough room for the groom on his small dirt bike, and a woman with an ATV gave the bride a more comfortable ride. They had to take a 16-mile off-road detour . . . and their hair was a little messed up when they arrived, but they made it on time. (Here’s a news report.)…………….And finally……………
Jake Murray and his fellow fishermen were asea near Port Lincoln, South Australia, when their captain, Ryan Smith, spotted something in the water. Smith thought it looked like a kangaroo, so they doubled back to check it out and yes, it was a male kangaroo. The animal was estimated to be about 2 miles offshore and looked like it had been swimming for a while. The crew lowered the boat’s sea door to water level so they could reach down and lift the kangaroo aboard. Murray held the animal close to keep its powerful legs under control while helping it remain calm. The crew transported their passenger back to shore, where the kangaroo sat on the beach for a while before finally hopping away.
