Good News

If you missed this footage from Monday, it’s crazy:  Three people were seriously injured when a medical helicopter crashed on a highway in Sacramento this week, and 15 people LIFTED the wreckage up, so rescuers could get to a paramedic trapped inside.  Last we heard, all three people on board were still in critical condition . . . a pilot, a nurse, and the paramedic they helped save.  Officials said she was in critical but stable condition……………An Ohio Domino’s partnered with local firefighters yesterday, and they delivered pizzas for Fire Prevention Week. They did a two-hour stretch of deliveries, and checked people’s smoke detectors while they were there.  If their smoke detectors worked, the pizzas were free……………And finally……..

Five-year-old Utah girl Sienna Barton just went home after nearly 1,000 days in the hospital.  She checked into the hospital at age two, and spent 975 days there before finally getting a transplant a few months ago.  Sienna was born with a heart condition and underwent two open heart surgeries and later developed severe heart failure.  In order to keep her alive as she waited for a new heart, doctors implanted a device to help her heart pump blood. Her neighbors decked the whole town in pink and purple streamers and balloons while carrying homemade posters to welcome her home.
