Hard to believe, but after more than 30 years on the airwaves at WSFL, the last day to listen to the John Boy & Billy Big Show is December 31st. The announcement, (which you can listen to here), was made in October and now the clock is ticking.
A huge thank you to the entire cast and crew for the stories, the music, the information and of course, the laughs that they’ve shared with us over the years. Mornings will definitely be different without their unique brand of humor, but you will hear the same great rock you know and love, and more of it every morning.
John Boy Isley and Billy James, along with their colorful cast of characters, launched The Big Show in 1980, and they have been entertaining listeners on WSFL for decades. When making the announcement, John Boy invited listeners to follow them on Facebook and to bookmark their website. The end of an era, they will be missed.
