The best thing about living in the south is that the fish bite year around. The guy writing this report took his 26 year old son bluegill fishing at a private pond and I caught nine gigantic blue gill all over nine inches long on night crawlers in one hour. My son got skunked, but he’ll get over it. Also the crappie are in the creeks and biting on Bobby Garland jigs and live minnows. The bass are hitting on blue and black jigs with a green pumpkin trailer. The speckled trout are hitting on mirror lures, gulp, and live finger mullet. The flounder are still here as well as the occasional red rum.
Remember to take a kid fishing, and please pick up your trash.
