A Virginia couple just had their dream wedding seven decades after they tied the knot. Frances and Harold Pugh are 90 and 91. They eloped in their 20s and finally got a real wedding for their 70th anniversary. They walked down the aisle, exchanged rings, and said their “I do’s” . . . all things they never got to do. The college football championship between Indiana and Miami was last night, but two Hoosiers are in the news for a different reason. Starting QB Fernando Mendoza just won the Heisman, and his brother Alberto Mendoza was his back-up this year. They teamed up with two restaurants in Bloomington, Indiana to raise money for M.S. research, as their mom has been battling it for two decades. One restaurant is selling a “Mendoza Brothers Burger”, and the other is selling a “Mendoza Brothers Cubano” sandwich and part of the proceeds from both are going to charity.
