So, knee replacements could become a thing of the past someday…………A CA guy was walking home last week and didn’t realize over $6,000 in cash fell out of his bag. But luckily, a VERY honest person found it in their yard and turned it in to the police. The guy it belonged to said he got every cent back, all $6,270 of it……………….And finally………..
Cold weather hasn’t stopped the Buddhist monks walking 2,300 miles from Texas to D.C. They, along with their dog, Aloka, started their “Walk for Peace” in October, and should arrive in D.C. next month. They’ve shared videos of themselves walking through the snow in NC the last several days, including in Raleigh and Wake Forest this past weekend. Today is Day 93 and they’re just north of Louisburg. Their latest blog post states: Peace—true, lasting peace—is not found in controlling the weather around us or within us. It’s found in learning to walk through all of it with minds that stay as grounded as we can, hearts that try to stay open, and spirits that whisper to us on the hardest days: this too shall pass, and we are still here, still breathing, still whole, still capable of choosing peace.
