A group of neighbors near Milwaukee used a paddleboard to save an ice fisherman on Saturday. He was getting ready to fish on a lake when he fell through the ice. They heard him calling for help, got him back to dry land, and he’s okay………… A cat that escaped from its owners’ camper in Spain five months ago just showed up less than a mile from their home in France. He apparently walked 155 miles to get home. The person who found him said they’d been feeding him for about a month before they finally caught him and scanned his microchip…………….And finally……………..
An OH snowplow driver jumped in to escort an ambulance to the hospital the other day. A baby named Bryson needed to get to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital ASAP, but the roads were covered in snow and not drivable. The hospital called Ohio DOT, explaining they had a sick baby that needed transport right away. Snowplow driver Joe Estes called it the “most important” assignment of his career, as he cleared miles of roadway with the ambulance following behind. A hospital official said that “every day is a positive day when [they] can save a child.” Both Bryson and his parents are doing well.
